a space for workforce development and career exploration serving the Greater Lima Region
The Hub is dedicated to strengthening the regional workforce through programs that include adult skills training and career coaching, as well as well as interactive programs through which children can discover different career paths in an engaging, hands-on setting.
Who We Are
The Hub at Central District is a center for Workforce Development and Career Exploration, partnering with area schools, colleges and employers to develop programs that meet the unique needs of the greater Lima region.
We are housed in a 10,000 sf former meat processing plant, located in the newly restored Central District in the heart of downtown Lima, offering a variety of spaces to host classes, workshops, community engagement events, and one-on-one career coaching. The Hub is a program of the Lima Chamber Foundation, with programming directed by an Advisory Committee of 47 stakeholders representing local Business, Education, Government, Economic Development and Non-Profit groups.
